2024 - Overview

In September, the van saga was resolved. First I purchased a slightly smaller and newer van. White lettering was bought and fitted, and I built new racking in the back. The old van was eventually bought back, with contents intact, but the gearbox had not been fixed! By that time it had  been signed over to the Insurance company. So once the sign writing had been removed, it was taken away.  

Workwise the second half of the year saw the refitting of a couple of bathrooms; erection of animal shelters; the fitting of outside taps; the fitting of skirting boards; the putting up of pictures, curtain poles and TV brackets; lots of gutters were cleared; a cold water tank was changed; some interior painting done; some and after taking down an old garage, I put up a new structure at the back of a house, with a plastic roof and decking underneath.
